I’ve just decided for the month of February I want to try and journal every day about my fitness and health journey. Normally I won’t post every day about this but this month I want to share the struggle… It’s real. Maybe I’m hoping someone else out there can identify and we can all work together to get healthier.  In March of 2017, I decided to try something new and get my DNA testing done to help me with my workouts and meals(at the end of the month we’ll talk more about this). I have kept about 10 points of body fat off since that time working with the information provided, my trainer and doctor

I try to work out three to six times a week(unless illness or work take a toll) and that helps me stay focused. It’s a lot but it is also what my body seems to respond to as well as sleep. I won’t hit the gym again until Sunday this week but I’ll be ready. Today on the way out the door for OKC I went through McDonald’s drive-through and tried to order a breakfast that’s somewhat healthy knowing I was meeting my photographer at 9:00 am then coming back to the station to finish out the day. I didn’ t plan well, and I didn’ t have time to get to the store for the end of the week making my meal prep efforts not exactly my best lol.

So today I have to do my best with Fast food and Door Dashn and protein shakes. Oh, and by the way, I just want to be healthier. So if you’re up for that… Join me and please comment below…
