You can find Tadd Parrett on any day that ends in Y, motivating everyone around him. Sometimes he’s working with clients and sometimes he’s just being Tadd. He doesn’t mind telling you he was born with Spina Bifida. He also doesn’t mind telling you to get over it. Tadd says he’s been doing some kind of athletic training since high school but he’s been working as a personal trainer for the last six years. At 33-years old,  he knows a thing or two about reaching goals.  He’s done two marathons and he’s also recently lost some 60 pounds. He did it all without the use of his legs, something most able-body people take for granted every day. So don’t even think about telling him you can’t accomplish your fitness goals because he’s not one to accept excuses for answers. Just ask him.

Show up for one of his group fitness classes and you’ll most likely want to steal his playlist and write down the workout to use again. The only problem, there is something about doing that workout with Tadd leading you every step of the way. While you work, he wheels by you with words of encouragement,  inspiring you to push and showing you, Yes, it can be done.  He watches the time tells you when to switch exercises or stations and helps you make any form corrections he sees as being necessary to your best workout toward your best you.

“You are your worst enemy. Negative mind, negative results. Positive attitude, positive results. Your attitude can make your day. So, why not have a good day.”

He trains clients at two different locations. You can find him at The Siegfried Health Club at St John in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Mustang Fitness in Oologah, Oklahoma. He also teaches group fitness classes with a HIIT focus. If you’d like to reach out to him, don’t be shy. He works with both able-bodied and those who are not able-bodied.
