Today was awesome. Got up headed to the gym and enjoyed a great cardio warm up then, then trained with my girls. It was a good workout with weights, but it also got my heart rate up. My body responds well to HIT workouts, and I love them. But this was kind of a mix of both. Took about an hour. I’m sure I’ll be sore tomorrow but in a good way. Got home and made a quick lunch with 4oz taco meat a slice of cheese and some diced onion. Speaking of or in this case writing about, I’m trying something new.

I got an alert to try a food app called ‘Lose it.’ Not sure I like it yet. I’m testing it out because you can take a picture of your actual food not just a bar code and it’s supposed to incorporate it into your meal diary. I just want to see if I like it. So for the next food days, I guess I’m double logging my food. LOL. I’ll keep ya posted.

Oh also hubby gave me this awesome gift for my birthday(last month)l, and I love it! It’makes single-serve protein shakes! I find it keeps my shakes cold for a lot longer than the other shakers I’ve used. It’s almost like a Yeti type thing for protein shakes. I”ll write more about that later. Long day time for bed… Cardio day tomorrow.. need some sleep. Oh yeah, have we talked about that? I’ve learned sleep can so screw with your fitness efforts. Resting is just as important as eating and working out. Jack up your sleep and you may not get the results.
