My husband and I fell in love with Cancun, Mexico. We actually honeymooned there and loved every minute of it as a couple wanting an adults only, not a crazy week. A friend introduced us to Le Blanc and an all-inclusive trip we will never forget. Now I should mention my husband has traveled more than I have and he has stayed in many places. He says for him Le Blanc Spa Resort is amazing. Many places that are all-inclusive can have not so great food. Not true for us on our visits to Le Blanc. The food was wonderful. The service impeccable. We didn’t want for drinks, our room was serviced several times a day and the butler was wonderful.

Just to be clear we go to the beach to reconnect with each other. On these trips, we aren’t looking for a bunch of excursions. We don’t want to visit with a bunch of strangers. And as my husband puts it, “I don’t want to go with other people. This is about time with you.” We want to enjoy the ocean, the food and drinks, and each other. Just being honest. Having said that, not leaving a property also means you want a certain experience. This place provided a private beach with a breathe taking view. The Spa was fantastic and unlike some places, we didn’t have to pay additionally to use the water therapy. I liked the gym and the classes offered while we were there. I love to workout on vacation, I’m not sure what that’s about lol. I will say it is a little more pricey than some places but we felt it was worth it to pay to upgrade. We also love how short the flight is for us and that we can get there in the early afternoon. We both keep a swimsuit in our carryon and then change clothes when we get to the hotel so we can lounge by the pool while they get our room ready and take our bags up.

Maybe I just like how I can push myself and not worry about being tired at work because I can nap all day by a beautiful ocean. It’s not perfect but for us, it’s a nice place to stay with wonderful amenities and even better customer service. It closed in 2017 for renovations so who knows what it will be like if we got back… But we’ve enjoyed both our stays at this resort and hope to check it out again very soon. We are not timeshare members just FYI. You will have to tell them upfront you just want to enjoy your stay and don’t want to talk about becoming a member so that you can enjoy your stay. I say that because you can get stuck in a sales pitch repeatedly if you’re not careful.
